ROADRUNNER

Immerse yourself in the American southwest desert with this multimedia piece for clarinet and fixed electronics. The clarinet part is meant to capture the roadrunner's character, the electronics creates the texture and sensation of the desert, and the video brings these two elements together for an immersed desert experience. This piece was commissioned by Katrina Clements for the International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest 2019 in Knoxville, TN. The video was created by Samuel Proctor for the performance at ClarinetFest.
