FOUR EXPRESSIONS

This trio for clarinet, violin, and piano is a theme and variations that explores various styles from twentieth century to romantic styles. This piece is a perfect opening work for a trio recital because of its virtuosity in all parts, but still has several moments of sensitivity (especially in the middle variation!).
