Fanfare for Northrop
This fanfare for brass choir (six trumpets, four horns, trombone, and tuba) was selected as the winning composition of the Northrop Fanfare Composition Competition and has been used as the curtain call fanfare ever since. Featuring trumpets, the piece features the Minnesota Rouser as one of its primary themes but has significant parts for every instrument.

Below is the recording that plays at every event at Northrop Auditorium at the University of Minnesota, recorded by the University of Minnesota Brass Choir led by Dr. David Baldwin.
